She has served in nearly all aspects of nonprofit development, including as a professional fundraiser, program evaluator, grants manager, community builder and direct service provider. Ann's robust experience also includes nonprofit consulting through her Washington-based consulting company and The Olin Group in Southern California. Ann is passionate about supporting nonprofit leaders, building powerful teams, creating fresh and compelling organizational narratives, and helping nonprofits become stronger and more sustainable.

She led the organization through a name change, rebranding, website redesign, shift from a grassroots Board to a fundraising Board, development of major donor program, organization’s first capital campaign, dramatic increase in philanthropic revenue and opening of three new affordable housing communities.
  • Director of Development and Planning with The Olin Group, a Southern California-based company, where she engaged in strategic planning, succession planning, budgeting, fund development assessments, grant strategizing and extensive grant writing, helping her clients to raise $6.2M within two years.

Through 501c Insight, Ann is continuing her life's work of ensuring that resources for basic needs and social justice are available for people in poverty, people with disabilities, survivors of trauma and abuse and other disenfranchised groups.
